After a year and a half at the farmers markets, we created a pop-up model that allowed us to operate without weather constraints, while still qualifying as a cottage food business. After a stint in a rented kitchen, we ultimately took the leap and signed a lease in 2016. The Blu Kitchen now operates as a fully licensed bakery/confectionary in Plymouth’s Old Village, with counter hours on Saturdays.
